| Class Goal: | This class will focus on logic training and brain exercise. It intends to lead students to open their mind and improve their math problem solving skills, in addition to the regular public school education. The class will spent less time on reviewing basic concepts and calculation methodologies.
The tentative teaching plan is for next 3 years based on the text book. This specific class is the first year class in the series. We will focus on relatively easy questions (% of correct responses>40%) in Division E (elementary level).
I taught this series of classes at CSCH in 2015-2018 school years and found this pace fit the natural development for most students. Parents are welcome to email me if you have questions or concerns. |
